Netgear USB wireless adapter giving up...

I bought this WG111T a little while back, so it's practically brand new, but sometimes it just putters out while the computer is on. I'm not sure if doing large transfers correlate to this problem, but those are the times when it usually gives out. Any advices? Oh, and it runs very hot, by the way.

I've used mine on several different machines with no prtoblems. Are you using other Netgear equipment? Maybe you just have a bad one . Mine runs quite cool. I suspect the elevated temp. is telling you something is amiss.

Hmm... how hot is yours? The connecting part feels almost burning to the touch.
