i dont it looks too childish, ill stick with my sony T616, and wait till i get a better phone like nokia 6620 or maybe the sony k750i, seriously a phone is a phone so it has to look like a phone that looks like a messed up gameboy to me

I'll stick with my nokia 3650. It runs ngage games and I already own it already (no money spent for a new phone or games here :p ).

Not ALL ngage games though ;)

I have an ngage, but the games just don't cut it it IMO.

Seconded. I need to call and text, that's all. If i want to play games while travelling (eg. by train or car) i'll take my laptop with me.

I hate combo devices of any kind...adding a clock to a microwave oven works..but thats about as far as you need to go!

It looks cool, but I'm sure the games will suck, like they do for most portable gaming devices.

yeah but what could be of interest is any homebrew software that is developed for it, i loved 'ultimate doom' for my ngage.

MPx200, best phone you could ever own. :) Up to a gig of storage so you can watch full movies (if they are re-encoded properly), listen to mp3s on the built in LOUD speaker, and best of all, the WM2002/2003 OS. There are SO many games for the smartphone platform, including quake and doom and duke nukem.

Thats true.

It would be nice to have some decent stuff developed for phones. Smart phones are okay, but a PPC is a better option for me and I don't like carrying something as big as a PPC or Smart phone when I'm not working.

Maybe there will be some cool user made stuff. Lord knows devs can't make a decent PPC/smart phone/phone game unless they are just porting/emulating and non-smart phones don't run emulators yet do they?

Guess I'll stick with the DS, PSP and x50v for now (all too large for normal errand running (for me atleast).

i think there are java applet gameboy and commodore 64 emulators, they may be runnable on non smart phones
