Given the same cpu speed, what IS the difference betwen a coppermine and a tualatin P3?

tualatin has some p4 aspects such as data prefetch and a .13 micron core meaning better overclokcing and cooler running....
they should perform about the same at the same speeds unless you happen to get a 512kb cache tualatin processor.
the tualatins are supose to overclock farther but i'm doing quite well with my cu-mine @ 1240mhz right now

You won't see much of a difference, if it all, given same FSB and same speed. The only thing the Tualatin really gains is the data prefetch logic which the P4s have. This doesn't help because of the limitations of PC133 RAM. Right now, it makes little sense to go with a PIII Tualatin. Tualatin Celery is intriguing, however...
