Graphic Card question..

Hi, Iam new here and Iapologize if Ipost in the wrong forum.

Iam wondering which graphic cards below is the most powerful these days?

ATI 9800 XT
ATI Readon X850
nVidia nForce4 SLI

Do they support Intel hardwards (MB, processor, chipsets, etc...)?...

Of the three you named, the X850 is definitely the fastest. The nVidia item you named is a motherboard chipset and not a graphics chipset.

Oops... Sorry..

I actually wanted to say nVidia GeForce 6800 Ultra with PCi Express...

How fast is this graphic card compare to ATI X850?...

They are both the top cards, and many ppl will tell you one is better than the other. They are both equally fast cards...


Though I am an nVidia fanboy, so I will tell you to get the 6800 Ultra.

If you are gonna play OpenGL games, or use OpenGL programs more, than get the 6800 ultra

If its DirectX you are going to use more in programs/games, get the X850

though both are VERY expensive

Can't go wrong with either the X850 or the 6800U so both would be a great choice.
