i bought a sunbeam rheobus a few days ago for 10$ :santa:
only problem is, it seems to be too wide to fit in the top slot on my v2000a :(
anyone know how i can overcome this?

I got a Sunbeam Rheobus, it fits like a charm in the 5.25 compartment, no problems. It shouldn't be any problem in your case either, or so i believe.
Have you tried bending the aluminium a bit? Another variable is always take the "front cover" for the compartment and drill the 4+4 holes in it and put it in that slot.
