So I put on the AeroCool Fanless VGA cooler.. which seemed to work good..

Overclocked my video card using the ATI tray tool (basically did that tool with the 3d Figure and found the max for GPU and Memory).

The thing is I am pretty sure I left it on without much cooling besides the AeroCool (I had some fans on it when I overclocked it etc..) and now when I start up Counter-Strike alot of the graphics is white, and my computer restarts like every 2-5minutes.. can this mean my video card is fried ?

Sigh... help me

btw.. if my card is down for the count, I'm going to have to buy a new one (I am dedicated to the game Counter-Strike and need one by tomorrow or the next day).. Any suggestions ? I really like the ATI adjustments, but I am open to suggestions

What kind of card do you have? It sounds like it is over heating because you don't have a fan on there. Also make sure it is making good contact with the core. Most card today need some sort of active cooling.

have you tried underclocking the card to see if it will still work? most likely it sound fried. i would recommend getting a 9800pro since most are way cheap right now

YAH !!! Works now... uninstalled ATI Tray and my video drivers, put the new Catalyst on and I get higher FPS without overclocking my card haha... gonna be alot more careful now, and got all my fans on it lol

what card was this anyways?
if it was one of the newer ones... a fanless heatsink might not be powerful enough for it
