Does anyone know of a hack to let you run windows Media Player 9 (XP Version) on Windows 2000, so as to get the lossless encoding?

Why would you need the XP version? Shouldn't all versions have that? Here is Windows Media Player 9 for 98/ME/2000

no, thanks but that feature is only in the xp version
