With the ammount of money I get for selling my rig now (Using a different videocard and minus my 80gb) and selling my laptop sits me at 1000$, plus a price drop in my rig sits me at 955$, I think this is one hell of a setup. Ill have to sit on retail cooling on the 3700+ but i can deal with that!

Why go with an nforce3 mobo? Get yourself a DFI NF4 Ultra-D. I wouldn't get that RAm either as lately I have been seeing people get it and it is no longer TCCD. Get some G.skill or OCZ VX. If you want cheaper RAM get some MUshkin blue stuff from Outpost.

Also definitely do not use that PSU that comes with the case. It is junk. If you still want that case look at getting a different PSU.

I would suggest the NEC burner also. If fogot the model number though.

I disagree, but then again what would I know I only own one. :)

It is a proven fact. Just because you have not had problems does not mean it is a good PSU. Some people don't have problems with POS PSU's that come with cheap cases, but would you recommend them to people?

BTW, I love your avatar :D

That mobo just isn't going to cut it.
I assume you want to stay with AGP becouse of the 6800GT? Well you can sell it right here on the boards and buy a X800XL or a X800 and get an DFI LanParty BUT if you really insist on staying with AGP then Epox 9NDA3 is the way to go.
Link to S939 boards overview.
Also I think you have chosen a great memory and you can check this link to see why.

Im also getting TCCD, if there is a problem with it, i want to know what it is before i buy it. :)

Its not TCCD that has the problem, its that those sticks don't have TCCD as of newer reports...

On the X-Connect:

Well, Ultra PSUs are from POWMAX right? Guess why they are called POWMAX? taking the POW to the MAX!!

really... **skit**

Person: (excited) Oh wow! This is a great rig I've built, backed up with a POWMAX PSU!! I love it! **High-pitched sound starts** What is that? Oh, well, nothing important.
(Person leaves to get a drink)
(Person returns)
Person: Man, whoever said POWMAX was a bad brand was damned wrong. I'm lovin thi--**POW!!**
Person: (Weilding fire extinguisher, covered in burned electronics) DIE YOU FIRE!!

**Fin**

Sorry, just had to do it

anyway, that looks like a nice rig. Just lose the thermaltake rounded cables and make your own... If you need blue, just get blue split loom, and make your own rounded cables (takes all of 10 minutes split loomed).

Thanks for the abundance of replys :D

I've had great buying experiences from TigerDirect, and also that X-Connect PSU is the same one my friend has with the same exact setup i got listed, his rails are very stable and strong, silent psu and no lower power restarts.

I'm going with this board because I need an AGP Board that will overclock well, ive read alot of people hitting high clocks on this board with the Veince/San Deigo cores. I'll be using the 6800GT AGP in my sig also, it hits about 425/1180 auto detected, i havent bothered OC'ing it any further because i just got it.

The reason I dont go with different ram is mainly because of price and it should be TCCD. This ram was suggested to me in another thread because of it having the highly probable chance of being TCCD. What I'm hoping to achive with this setup is 250fsb with low timings insted of 300fsb at high timings. If anyone can suggest a gig of ram that will clock 250fsb with no problem @ 185$ or less, im all ears open. This will be my first real oc'ing rig.

I read most AGP s939 boards cant do 1T, Sentential told me up about how this Gigabyte board can and my friend who has the same setup is running 1T, although Im not sure if other boards can...this is my first system more advance than an Athlon XP rig :eh?:

BrutalDrew
Thats one thing that worries me....I just want 250fsb at low timings so i dont gotta worry about expensive *** pc 4800 :(

Regardless if people you know have not had problems with them it is highly suggested that you get a different PSU.

Did you look at the MSI K8n neo2 platinum?

Hmm yes im looking at it...the only reason im getting such a cheap case/psu is i dont got **** for money...so that stops me from buying anything. I gotta sell this comptuer im on and my laptop just to be able to do this. If i go with that motherboard would a XP-120 fit on there easly? I just dont know of the reviews and the Cons look ugly...ill haev to take a closer look in a few i suppose :eh?:

Sorry i cant afford psu's that cost 100$

And, theres nothing wrong with a psu under 100 bucks. Like the Fortron Bluestorm. hey, it saves $$$ and thats alright with me.

Why not use the cabling that comes with the MB and put that savings toward a PSU for now and then find some tricked out cabling later. Myself I would find a spot to skimp for now and then get that better (cabling)parts later. While not getting poo for the most important part of the build the PSU.
IMO the whole rig can suck from a poor PSU. I try and go around 10% of build budget for the power. If you can browse around and find a good brand PSU for cheap good deal.
