Lately I have seena lot of people buying OCZ EL PLatinum Revision 2 and them not being TCCD, so I would buy something else like G.skill.

Also I would just make sure the XP-120 is compatible with that mobo. You probably did, but just making sure.

Yep... i checked to see if the mobo works with the heatsink. Its A-Okay!
Thanks... :santa:

Edit: its fine with me if its not tccd. But my brother reccommended it for me.

Would you guys reccomend getting a new CPU soon. It seems like a good idea but i dont have the money. I had the venice in mind, but i dont know much about it.

If you want to use the Video Card and Processor that you got from your brother then I think that is a very nice setup. I agree that the GSkill would be a good alternative to the OCZ RAM. If you can I would recommend moving to socket 939 with a Venice 3000+ or 3200+ and a DFI NF4 Ultra D. Other than that sounds good. Good luck and enjoy.

Eventually, i will replace the proccessor and mobo. but i wont have any extra cash unless i ditch the monitor. :bang head

Edit: or i could delay my purchase and save up about 200 bucks...

well... im not quite sure what to do at the moment. I will be ordering in about a month or less.

yeah... i know its a nice monitor. Im waiting for one of those deals that dell will have that will bring the price down to 400. I saw it happen before but it went back to retail price before i could grab it. So... im waiting patietly.

Also, sometimes if you get a dell of their site, find the monitor you want under home office and then go try to find it in the business section. I found that sometimes the same monitor can be two different prices on the same site.

Here are the links...

Home, Home Office- http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/...=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=320-4111&category_id=4009

Small business- http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/...=en&s=bsd&cs=04&sku=320-4111&category_id=4009

As you can see, one is on sale and the other isnt! It doesnt really make sense but hey! might as go with the cheaper one!!
