I need to be able to test an app under loaded circumstances and am wondering if a piece of sofware exists that will allow me to simulate the following loads:
CPU
Disk I/O
Memory (RAM)
Network I/O
Queue Length
I would like to be able to set it to use like 5% of the maximum cpu, and be able to vary this number either by running multiple instances of the program, or by using the program itself.
However, this will be run on many different computers so I would need something that could adapt kind of thing, like using 5% of a desktop, while on a different box using 5% of a server.
Any help here?
