I'm planning to by a 1.4ghz soon, and I know I will need a really good fan. I want it quiet also, and I also want it as cheap as possible. Does anybody know where I could get this HSF? I want the fan that everybody is talking bout, the quiet fan. I would rather a lil less performance for a queiter noise at nite. Oh yeaH..cheap meaning shipping and no tax in california please..Anywayz..list ur sites if u know any..thx..late -wU;)

Well, you're looking at about $40 with shipping anywhere you go. Go to www.millennium-thermal.com for more information.

I have the Glaciator, and you will be VERY HAPPY, it is QUIET and outperforms the Sk6 on many appliocations. My buddy Sk6 was at over 50c idle when i am at 37c idle. Well i took his box apart and lapped his HS and used AS2 same as on my box, now he is at like 45-46c idle and bout 49-50c load. Better but no where near my Glaciator. Ans he also has more case cooling. DONT UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF A GLACATOR, and stop overestimating the sk6 as it is way overrated

thx guys..I'm bout to get this..but for 40 bux..damn..it best be worth it. I hope it gets me around 40C LOAD. Another question you guys, What fan does the Glaciator use? And who has a better HS, SK6 or this? What is Lapping? Do I need to do any adjustments to my HS when I get it? Too all mods..sorry..I dun remember where I posted this...I wanted to post this in COOLING, but I think it was motherboards..sorry again. Late -wU

Don't hesitate to buy a Glaciator. I have one on my 1.4 and it keeps it very cool. I've gone through quite a few HSFs and this is the best by far. It uses a 60 mm fan (not exactly sure what brand, YS I think). Lapping is when you use very, very fine grit sandpaper (like 1000 grit) and lots of patience to sand a heatsink bottom or cpu core (intel only) to the point of it having a mirror finish for better heat transfer. You wont have to lap your Glaciator. Although it doesn't have a mirror finish on the bottom, it's still very smooth is shipped with a protective film on the bottom. Don't forget to remove it prior to installation! :) Also, use Arctic Silver thermal paste on your cpu core, but just a tissue paper thin layer. Don't forgret to post your results!
