I have the Taisol HS with the copper insert which was way better than my FOP 38, but now I need a new HS after the addition of my 1.2 Ghz TBird. I got it to 1378, but temps started getting much too hot. What can people recomend? I am on a budget and need good value for money.

Not sure abut idle, but hits about 51 degrees celcius under heavy load, I think.

well that isnt too bad
you can still go a little further with that kind of temp

Glaciators are really nice if you can foot $40. I think that might be what you're looking at if you need better cooling for a hot bird, anyway...

I'm not sure about the temp. The computer tends to crash after prolonged stints at this temp. Where can I get a Glaciator in England? Or is there any where I can buy one and get it shipped to England?

What fan is good to use with it? I have a Delta 60mm.

SK6 all the way mate. I have one and temps just rock. These temps are quite accurate as I have AS2 on my thermal diode...

AMD 1400Mhz @ 1575Mhz (10.5x150)
Idle Temps 36C
Load Temps 41C

I cannot hit much higher than that clock speed due to chip limit. I can post right the way upto 1733Mhz. I can get into windows stable at 1633Mhz but torture tests like SiSoft burn-in 100 times fail after 5 minutes.

I stay at 1575Mhz for the fsb performance. My 512Mb Crucial 2100 DDR ram stops somewhere at 154Mhz. I think that is quite good, esp considering I dont have heatsinks on them yet.

I can't seem to find a Glaciator at dabs or buy.com so is there anywhere in the US that will ship to England?

I can't seem to get to 1.4, I got to 1378 but started getting crashes.
