I was wondering if there would be some way to use a Moderately big Automotive radiator to cool my rig to be, and then mount the pump in the line, then flow it on the block to cool my pc then back out again.. Would there need to be some kind of special attachment to make it down to my tubing size? Oh, This would be my first WC rig :)

Please be welcome to leave your comments, or suggestions

Yeah, you would need a powerful pump though, and the tubing sizes would need to be converted. IDK what size radiator the fittings on your particular radiator would be.

And, :welcome: To The Forums!!!

There have been serveral people who have used car radiators, I think one person made a dual loop to get around the flow problems. Most, I think, have simply just made a loop that works better with pressure rather than flow.

With a bigger pump needed, coming with the sound, should I Build a wood box, or some other thing, and put that sound reducing foam in it? It shouldent need that much air should it?

I am looking into doing the exact same thing. I think I have finally settled on a 1990 Geo Metro LSI Rad

It has a copper core, plastic tanks, no oil cooler, a brass core, and looks to be about the right size to be able to bolt to the side of my case.

I don't think it will take some super pump to do this, although I might go back and add a second 50z to the loop if I do this or maybe a new MCP655. I am thinking of going fanless with this if possible.
