I have been looking into a WC system, but evertime I got to This one, I always bypassed it because 199 was too much. Well, it is 139 now. Is it worth it?

It's the Aqua-Gate water cooling kit ALC-U01-U1 system.

An MCW6002 or DTek WhiteWater along with a DTek Pro Core (and your choice of fan) & a Via Aqua 1300 or 1800 would serve you much better than that kit & would be less $$$.

In my opinion, no. High-end air will get you to the same place as this kit and for a few $ less.

no :), im on the crappy 1/4 tubing Koolance Exos and its getting higher temps compared to my hs&f Vantec Areoflow but with water the overclockage has HUGELY increased.

I would go for the AquaGate mini R120 versus the regular Aquagate. Bigger rad, less restriction and less components to deal with. Plus inexpensive to boot!

Save yout save money Buy Thermaltake Tower112 heatsink with dual 92mm fans, this when it's loud peforms as well as water. It will bit any of the outside case watercooling systems

1 more vote for custom... or atleast a vote for "screw the self-contained WC units and get a decent kit at the very least"

check out some of swiftech's new kits like this: http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/swh2licokitr1.html

its a great kit, pretty inexpensive for something that outperforms just about any other pre-built kit (only ~$215 after you select a block at the bottom of the page)

plus if you're looking to cool your GPU as well, you can pick up one of these as well: http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/swifmcgpucoo1.html

so if you're looking to WC, save up some cash and buy a kit like i just showed you, or just go all out and do a DIY setup
