BTW i have run out of outlets in my room, including the 8 on my surge protector, and just had to order another power strip

When I built my house I added a outlet in the computer room with it's own 20 amp breaker, best thing I ever did. All of this is pluged into 2 UPS's, each one with a extra outlet strip pluged into it.

2- Computers
3- Monitors
2- Printers
1- Scanner
1- PSU under desk for external lights, fans, and testing things
2- Speakers
1- Cable modem
1- Router
1- Switch
1- Wireless AP
1- USB hard drive
1- Laptop charger
1- Camera charger

Lets see...

1 - Case
1 - Monitor
1 - Printer
1 - Speakers

PC2:

1 - Case
1 - Monitor
1 - SPeakers

Laptops: one each :)

Plus my nokia phone, battery charger for digial camera, router, switch, and some other stuff.

1 - Monitor (bout to be 2!)
1 - Speakers
1 - Line in from tv tuner
1 - Microphone
1 - Printer
1 - usb keyboard & mouse
1 - scanner
1 - cable tv
1 - radio receiver
1 - logitech wheels/pedals

Hi, in my case :

1 Computer
1 Monitor
1 Printer
1 Scanner
1 Router
1 External modem
1 WAP
1 External powered USB hub
1 Ethernet hub
1 Telephone base station
1 Lamp

That makes 11, although that is my maximum (and the lamp / telephone base station are not really 'computer equipment').

I have a 2 switches and i wireless router but they arnt pulgged into my computer

i have 7 working computers around my house, i dont know how many outlets they use total, but its a lot

my room:

1 - computer
1 - moniter
1 - printer
1 - external cd burner (4x)
1 - speakers
1 - usb hub
1 - headphone amp

all through 1 power cord, all on a ups, but only the computer, moniter, usb hub are on the battery backup.

down the cellar:

1 - smoothwall
1 - router
1 - cable modem

these are just on normal power, on a single power strip.

About the same.. but 1 Monitor, 1 printer, and 1 tv. Everything else is on the mark. Oh Dsl modem instead of Cable.

hmmm...

2 monitors
1 tower
1 teac amp/kenwood speakers
1 nokia charger
1 ipod charger
1 printer
---------------
so that means i have 7

however there are 2 other pcs at my place so they probably use 7 or 8 outlets between them

Computer, scannar, printer, mouse dock, camera dock, moniter, cell phone charger, speakers, router, moden, big screen TV, xbox, VCR, DVD player, amp, floor lamp, lava lamps (2).

20 plugs being used in my room. Quite unsafe actually, considering I have one outlet in my room, with two power bars coming out of it, with each power bar connecting to another power bar/extension cord, plus whatever is plugged into them. Supprisingly, I haven't blown a fuse in 6 years :)

Hmm...

Into my surge protector under my monitor:
-monitor
-monitor
-speakers

Then that goes into a surge strip where:
-computer
-audio box

That's just my computer.. my dad's computer with the printer/scanner/charger/2 routers/cable modem etc etc... a lot more :)

I think I have 15 outlets in use, between my phone, router, pc, speakers, phone box, modem, pocket pc ect. That also includes a monitor for when my friends bring over their pc.

3 power strips in three wall outlets carry 17 loads.

4 computers
4 monitors
1 router
1 cable modem
2 sets speakers
1 PDA dock
1 camera dock
1 telephone
1 external HDD
1 printer

jonny5c has the right idea. I will have to look into getting a dedicated power line for the computer room.

STICKY!!

anyway, 1 for PC, One for Monitor, one for speakers, one for printer, one for modem, one for router, and then:

Cell phone
Nintendo DS

think thats it =/

i think i have 10 slots used (all 8 from one ups, 2 of 8 from another) from my comp. too lazy to list them all.

This will take awhile
