Built new system, everything run greats - but

But my board only has ONE IDE port - so thats used on my IDE hard drives... however there are2 raid ports.

My hard drives are in the IDE port, and i'm running my cd drives from a PCI card.

How can i configure my hard drives to work in one of the raid ports so i can switch my cd's to the IDE ? is this possible ?

problem solved! I even got dvd drives runningthrough raid, awesomeness!

I bet he just pluged them in and did not set up a RAID when the option comes up. I was going to say that you can hook up anything you want to the raid IDE and not set up a raid they will function just like any normal IDE chan.
