o.k. people.... I'm considering getting some new ram for another rig. Haven't been following the TCCD/TCC5 stuff for awhile. Whats the best deal right now for this stuff that regularly hits 300fsb & above? I know about the GSkill LE stuff but I'm looking for something a little cheaper..... what about ADATA, Patriot, OCZ.... etc. Stuff that is known to hit 300fsb (2.5-3-3-x) with less than 3v on the vdimm, please provide links as I'll be making the purchase in the next week or so. Thanks.

Here (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=43659) is a list of ram that has TCCD, alot of those have switched to TCC5 but that doesn't really matter. Just search newegg untill you find the one you want. :)

o.k. let me be a little more clear......
if anyone is using TCCD/TCC5 ram and is currently getting 300fsb (2.5-3-3-x) please provide me with a link from where you got it. The cheaper the better as I'm going to make a purchase soon. Keep in mind I'm looking for the best deal on ram that is known to get up to/over 300fsb. This will be on an A64 rig.
So far this (http://www.newegg.com/OldVersion/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-146-890&depa=1) seems like the best deal, but can it do 300fsb with 2.5-3-3-x timings?

id go with the ocz but will take luck getting 300fsb outa it.
Gskill LA 2x512/tccd 440 is your best bet but will need to find a good deal used in classifieds but almost all ive seen of those sticks are doing 300fsb.

Hello HousERaT .
Watch these, are a very good option.

According to it seems are TCC5, but they do 300@2.5-3-3-x with 2.8V for me. I hope that this helps a little him.
Good Luck

thanks soyset, nice clock you got on your ram.. those are the ones in my link...... I've got my eye on them because of the awesome price..... according to deathstar they are not a sure bet for 300fsb..... maybe an OCZ rep can give me some advice? ;)

Check out the Corsair link in Cyber Deals. The guaranteed speed for them is quite a bit higher (being PC4400) however I have no idea how high they are capable of getting up to, plus the deal is only good if you get single sticks and not the dual channel pack.

If you look at the rebate form for the OCZ El Plat r2, it says that it's a $35 rebate. That'd be an incredible deal for $150. What do you guys think? Mistake?

Kinda weird. It says $15 off at the top, probably the 35 is a typo.
