I have a Tbird that have the stepping of AXIA-K... does that mean that CPU is good at OCing? And any guides on which stepping is best on OC?

all axia steppings are good for oc'ing. some are better though. i think the best would be an axiar - y but your axia-k is ok too. you'll get it easily to 1.25GHz and maybe even more with good cooling.
just my 0.02$

I dont have one but from what I've seen the tb 1g 200fsb chips all seem to be pretty good for ocing.

there are axia y and axia r, and so far the later the stepping letter the better. It will still OC well but not as well as the y or r. that is my take on it

i heard someone in overclockers.com CPU database saying that hey use my CPU to overclock up to 1600! I only try my best in 1300! more?It will be 65C(1320 + 1.8Vcore)
What temp is safe then?
Personaly I never let my cpu run hotter then 46°C at full load but thats just me. I think AMD says you can safly run you cpu in the 60's but thats alittle crazy if you ask me the 50's should be safe if you can stand to see those temps.
I did have my chip in the 70's once but that was only cause the fan didnt turn on thankfully I had an alarm setup so the person using the PC heard the alarm and had the sence to turn it off. I have since turned the alarm down so if this happens again the computer will be shut down if the cpu reaches 46°C. I hope

*Tio Etomac* has attached the following USEFUL URL!
http://www.overclockers.com/tips400/
The maximum temperature is 90C
so I will still be safe if i m on 70C
Hey thats interesting well I guess since I will be getting a new cpu/mobo within 2yrs for sure I could stop being so critical about my temps. Hey maybe I will go ahaed and oc this thig above 1.45 to see what those temps will look like. 1.2@1.45 @46°C full load (145x10). I usually run this thing at 1.38 (145x9.5) but I need a new psu since mine is bunk , 1.2@1.2 - 5v rail 4.88-4.72 it was worse but some how its now at these levels
Thanks for the tip , I wonder how high I can go 1.5 probably 1.6 maybe but not likely.
