ASUS P5ND2-SLI Deluxe and Dual Core CPUs

I have just read on the ASUS website in the FAQ section that the ASUS P5ND2-SLI Deluxe supports the Intel 820 Dual Core CPU but only in single core mode because of a chipset limitation.

This is the question that was asked in the ASUS FAQ.
Does P5ND2-SLI Deluxe motherboard support Intel Pentium D 820 processor?

This is the answer that was given in the ASUS FAQ.
Yes, P5ND2-SLI Deluxe motherboard does, but the Intel Pentium D 820 processor works only in single-core mode due to chipset limitation.

Now what i would like to know is will this be the same for all 8xx Dual Core CPUs used with the ASUS P5ND2-SLI Deluxe.
