I just found this go here http://www.highpoint-tech.com/370drivers_linux.htm to get the drivers.

Downloaded the drivers but haven't had time to test it. I have to set up my old BP6 to try this out. A whil ago I Mandrake 7.1 on it and it did support the onboard highpoint controller, No other distro ever did out of the box not even any other version of Mandrake even the newer ones.
