Ok, my w2k is arriving today and I have decided to keep 98se on my HDD.

My HDD is partitioned into 3 fat32 drives, 98se in C, D is empty, and E has stuff in it.
I figured I would put w2k in D.

So now all I need to do is insert the w2k CD and install to D?
Or do I format C and install w2k first?

Will it automatically install in the NTFS or fat32, I prefer to have ntfs, or do I choose at installation? I have Partition Magic.

ok
u can install win2k onto your d partition
do not uninstall win98se or u wont be able to dual boot
win98 has to be on first to keep the boot record safe

when installing win2k it will give u th option of which partition to install to,u should choose d:\
it will also ask u wether u want to upgrade to NTFS
i would recommend against this as u will not be able to share information between your two OS's and your other partitions
so leave it as fat32
u only lose out on security features such as encryption
