Can anyone comment on the difference between the two?.. Expierence with either product..Which one will "walk the dog the fastest"....

I don't have experience with either of them, but a friend of mine made an interesting point when he was ordering his. He purchased PC2100 from a reputable manufacturer (I don't remember which anymore) that didn't make PC2400 or 2700. His rationale was that if they made the higher speed memories, then the binsplits on overclockablility for the 2100 would be much lower. Whereas if PC2100 was the fastest they made, any chip that would do at least PC2100 would be used, making the chance of getting PC2100 that would go to 2400 or beyond better.
I agree with his logic, tho I don't know if it's true in practice.
Anyone have any idea?
