Hey guys,

Im changing my family's rig from Athlon Xp1600 to a Celeron D 2.93 Socket 478 since the board died today :( and I found a deal for the new proc. Like I said, I need a recommendation on a BUDGET/decent mobo that supports the Celeron D Socket 478. Used for mainly web surfing and chatting. Something that can last a longggggg timmmee and doesnt have alot of problems. (no more money for any upgrades after this :-/ . Also is 50$ for this processor a good or decent deal? Otherwise I might just save a few bux and stay with the Athlon xp .......

I'd find something from one of the big names, Abit, Asus, etc. Try a refurb from newegg or check the classifieds here.

A 2.4 Celly averages $70 on the egg, so $50 for a 2.93 cant be too bad.
