I have a 2.8c that I can't get stable at 1 mhz over the stock fsb and have narrowed it down to my board undervolts everything (MSI)

Go with the Abit. I've used both of those motherboards, and I had much more success with the IC7. They both have more or less the same features, etc., but the Asus board has a problem with vcore droop. The Abit does not.

Can't go wrong with the Abit IC7-G. I got one and it's been a great overclocker.

thanks guys... once I get my LCD monitor paid off I am going to pick this board up (Abit)
