dibs!
Now I need to setup a beowulf cluster with those monsters! Now, what does "128gb of Netlist 4 Rank RAM!" mean?
Windows 2003 Enterprise can hold up to 1TB of ram. Now imagine that.

Thanks. Next Q:
Anybody try OC'ing these modules before? :)
Very doubtful because they aren't released to the public yet, so no consumers would be able to get their hands on them. Plus with something that expensive I don't think they'd dare overclock it.
Its like art for computer fanatics.

OMG someone borg that! (under my name :p )
lol I love the task manager, each proc display is like 1/4" wide ahaha
*edit*I can undertand the use of that processing power, many things could utlize that, but 128 GIGS of RAM? what in the world would use all that?
and here is a Linux quad opteron if anyone wants to buy one :)
Priced mine out to ~13grand muahaha http://www.penguincomputing.com/products/servers/altus3400.php

You have always been able to build machines like this if you have a filthy amount of money to spend. The only thing impressive with this is how good the K8 architecture scales in SMP.
