hi everyone, I have a celeron 1 gig on a black pearl i was wondering if there was any way to get the fsb to 133 without sending the pci bus through the cieling?? like the manual setting or a hard jumper setting maybe i dunno im little green on the advanced settings. I have pretty good luck with the one button overclock but system hangs when pci bus reaches 39, no matter what cpu i use. i was just curious if there was a way to oc it more without jacking the pci bus through the roof!! Thanks!!!

yes, simply go into the bios and change the fsb ratio to 133:133:33 instead of 100:100:33.

alrite even trying the manual route (ive tried this before) with all my cpu celeron 700 retail boxed 800 and now a 1 gig i cant even get the computer to start at all when i select 133:133:33?? seems funny. do i need to make a hard jumper setting to enable it maybe? i would appreciate any comments on how to make my purrrty black board run a celeron at 133 fsb. thanks

it sound like maybe your memory cant handle 133mhz then, try the 100:133:33 ratio.

im not exacly sure why it wont post have tried this many times i cant seem to raise the bus speed alone without running bringing the whole system speed at once. also i have the same problem on other asus cusl2-c's. I know im doing something wrong i just dont know what it is yet. thanx for replying

OK now IM tapped, ive tried everything i know of to try on all three of these chips and on none of them can i set the fsb directly up 33 meg with success. the chips all over clock to the same point--basically to a 39 pci bus, but only works when i raise the the default settings. I have tried hard jumper setting to 133:133:33 computer locks when i try to save the settings and restart. tried 133:100:33 same thing: tried 100:133:33 with all of this the same thing happens it just locks when i save. So i tried my celeron 700 used manual setting of 100:100:33 Guess what LOL same thing. So Feeling like Moron, i ran over to my neighbors (who just happens to have a cusl2-c also compliments of myself) and starting messin with his, having tried to raise the fsb while leaving the pci bus down on two boards and with four chips the same thing happens everytime. IS is just impossible to do this? IM REALLY desparate now. Well i can run it 1180 with an extremely high pci bus but thats kinda scary would rather go a different route. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
