im buying a video card and wanna know if msi star force 831 was vote a best buy by pc world.com can i trust this info? i wanna a geforce 3 but dont want to pay the bucks

i'm about to get this card too...i have a thread about this card...try to look for it...it should be on the first page of the forum...it clocks pretty good...

{If you check www.pricewatch.com right now, you'll find a 3D Power MORPHEUS GeForce3 for $259. I definately suggest you purchase this card before they run out of stock! They have larger than average RAMsinks, and a purple orb, great for moderate overclocking.

Go for a radeon 8500 which will outperform a G3, and you save $55 in the process. ATI has a winner with the 8500 thats for sure!!!

i have had NOTHING but problems with ATI drivers though. their tech support and driver support BLOWS. great products, but everything else sucks.

ive been waiting for reviews ont eh radeon , and if its any good i have been thinking of going back to them, and then seling my GF3, wait and see maybe id trade you my gf3 for the 8500.

but other than that i like the visiontek nice crisp 2d fast 3d
