i use 3/8 id tubing. If i do the mod too increase flow and have a 1/2 id inlet and i put a small piece of 1/2" from my gpu too pump will i get the same results as the test. And or i fit 3/8 tubing over the 1/2 barb??

anyone for the bonus round ? if i install a 3/8 barb on the ddc350 instead of the 1/2"

what i see is the test done on a 1/2" res too pump and 3/8 going out. No mention of a flow in a circle.

folks who have done this mod can you shine some light on me

The main benefit to the mod is to remove the 90 degree inlet of the DDC... Sure the 1/2" helps a bit, but the MAIN benefit is as I mentioned, using a 3/8" inlet barb with the mod will still yeild nice gains.

^^ I'm sure that is what he means. I did the mod and I gained a 2c drop. That temp. drop was using 3/8 fitting.
