Is 42 degrees hot for a PSU?

is that the intake or exhaust temp?

if it's the exhaust temp, it's great. if you're pumping 42 degree c air into a psu, it's not quite as great, but still not a huge cause for concern. and if it's the psu's internal heatsink temp, you're in the clear too.

i typically think of cpu and psu temperatures as having the same desired ranges - anywhere below 50 is fine, above that and into the 60s i'd be rethinking my situation.
