View Full Version : How to fix the Win2000 refresh rate problem with Nvidia cards
I have heard that no matter what refresh setting you choose in Win2000 that you can not get you nvidia card to surpase it. In win98 I could run 100 fps in UT and now I cant get over 50 fps with 2000, with the same level driver and configuration (800x600). Now I know that there is a patch, I've seen it some where, can someone help me find it. Thanks

I was wondering about that.... Counter Strike runs at like 50-60hertz... its bad for your eyes.... (i have desktop refresh rate at 100hertz), and your right, on my win98 machine its definitly got a better refresh rate in games.
Afraid i dont know anything about a patch. :(
Anyone?
