Does anyone else see a problem with the MCP350 operating upside down due to the fill port being on the bottom? Overall, it looks like a pretty good design and should save some room in a small case.

harder to fill? its inserted into the case with the fillport facing upwards, it should be no harder to fill than the mcres-525.

Uh.... the fillport is on the bottom in the mounting position. With the fillcap on top of the res...
It shouldn't matter much, since it's even with the very bottom of the reservoir. Think of it as similar to how people with big reservoirs often have a small length of tubing with elbows on them for level indicators.

... lemme find that thread...
it was said to be harder to fill the entire system, not just the res, because the pump will now be sucking the water up due to its orrientation. Sry I didnt make that clear. But Im pretty sure its no big deal. Just have to be sure you have your levels good before you start it up for the first time.

forgot to mention, i thought the pump wasn't supposed to be mounted upside-down.
if you can prime, and maintain the prime, the pump can be mounted any way preferred
-> but be very sure it will/can be primed
