My mom is working in the school district and she just told me there giving her the latest addition of windows XP

I just wanted to know if it overclocks well? and if I should install it? Im currently using win98
I realy want it sense I want to put lots of ram in but I realy dont know anything about it.

and Im talking about hardcore overclocking like supercooling

also I have heard you have to do something everytime you add new hardware........I donno if anything has changed but I donno if I like the sound of that..

I heard that about the hardware thing, but I've added and removed hardware, and it didn't say anything to me about it.

I have also added and removed hardware and got no warning. As far as overclocking. Xp is not as stabel as my 2k install was. "NOT YET" more tweaking to do. Of course it could have something ot do with me haveing a 200watt PS on a tbird 1.33@1.5, plus all the other stuff in my box

In Xp you can change 7 peices of hardware as long as you dont change the nic. 3 if you change the nic

like 7 peaces of hardware all at once or in a given amount of time?

and a nic is a ethernet card right?
