it's a celery 500 at work. I'm trying to get more of them for our team, but not yet.

I should have another box to fold at home in a few days, a k6-2 500. Hopefully by Monday.

I can get at least one box from work if I can get him to leave it on for at least 6 hours/day. and the conagent.exe. thing in the other thread is something that I would need to do since that is the main reason I pulled it from that box in the first place. They thought the computer had been infected with a virus and I told them I would get rid of the virus and make sure it was OK! ;)

I had gotten a few "whats that FaH box doing on my computer?" I'd just say "oh..its just folding proteins." I got the strangest looks but it seemed to be good enough :).

Anyway, any and every box we start helps tremendously. Keep up the good work m8s.

Any additional horsepower helps. I did some reading and was finally able to figure out the mobo jumpers to up my P166 to a P200.

Unfortunately, long ago the fan on the heatsink died so it will not stay stable at 200. But I was able to stay stable at 180 so I'm hoping that's enough power to beat the deadline. But I am looking in to a way to put some kind of fan over the heatsink so I can run at the full 200. Just need to dig up a cheap fan from an old PC.

Anyway, nice work on the additional machine.

I bet someplace in Pittsburgh has a fan for you for about a buck or two...

Someone in Youngstown has an 80mm case fan(bought ten of them really really really cheap from ebay) but it's not the quietest fan on earth and may be too big. If not, it's a quick shipment through the mail.

Of course there is also the "free" route if you can stand the advertising, the processing fee, and the monthly(or so) surveys.
