What does the bolded line mean?

from what i've seen in my searches on the net... it appears to be when the program is running its string of math, and finds a 'shortcut' that shortens part of the process, and it jumps past it to a part of the fold further down the chain.... usually jumps of like.. 2% to 15% or something like that... but i guess in this case.. it did a 1% jump in about 4 minutes instead of the near 28 or so minutes it was taking you before per frame...

that's the only thing i can find and think of.

Franks, got it right. To track progress Stanford changed the reported jump so that it's always 1% so as not to confuse EMIII. When the QMDs first came out, progress could jump as much as 15%. Frame times are totally unreliable until convergence.
