I have a DFI NF2 with a m2400 running @ 12 x 220 @ 1.95

I have my CPU water cooled and nothing else. Is it worth the extra cash and setup to WC the NB? Will I gain anything besides more tubing in my case?

only a few boards gain anything from cooling the NB

some boards that do that you will notice are the NF7 series abits . but on the whole its basicaly a luxurie for those with good head pumps.

thats a nF2 though, so the memory controller is on the chipset, wouldnt it help to active cool it?

i think decent aircooling is enough, putting a wb on the nb wont yeild much higher speeds imo

throw a fan on that heatsink and see if it helps

I have upped the Volts and seen no gain to FSB at all. The passive cooler stays cool at 220 now at stock voltage. I just see people doing this and wondered is it worth it. If I can't gain on my OC there is no point....
