zalman 400a

hey all
brothers got a zalman 400a and he wants to know if the fan inside it is socketed or not.
has anyone opened one or have any links to a guide or something on the net, ive tried googling but cant find anything that actually shows me the fan connected to the pcb.

It's probably just a screw in fan with a propietary connector connected to the main PCB. If its not a connector, then its probably soldered, which is very easy to mod with. Open the PSU, remove anything covering the wires, cut the wires about an inch from the solder point, and then get some longer wires and solder them to a molex 4-pin
