is there a easy way to remove them with out a special tool??
The only easy way I know of to remove rivets is with a drill, but be careful you dont use a bit too big or drill too deep if you want to keep the same sized holes. You may also need a punch if the rivets are deep or the material is thick. Are you case modding or is this for some other type of project?

Take your time, keep the drill straight and watch your depth and you should be fine. Rivet heads usually pop off once you hit the right spot but they can be pesky so have a few bits and a pair of pliers around. If you have anything old to practice on try that first. It's also a good idea to wear safety glasses if you have them so no metal fragments get in your eyes.
If you are in a rush and are not doing any delicate, then you can use a flat head screwdriver and hammer. Use the screwdriver as a chisel and use the hammer to hit the screwdriver. Its much faster, but can cause problems if you are not carefull.
