I have an extra cak 38 laying around and was wondering if I could use it in my little brother's celeron 566 setup? I have never been able to overclock his computer to more than about 700mhz before it becomes unstable. The current fan heatsink cost me like 10 bux, about a year ago, so its not exactly the best in the world... Would this heatsink work properly on his socket 370 celeron 566? The motherboard is an Abit bh6 and it uses an abit slocket I believe. Thanks!

he he, when I opened this thread my other browser was open the the GlobalWin website. I am not sure, and the site doesnt say about this model, but if I had to guess I would say yes. I guess it doesnt hurt to try, as long as it seats firmly and the surfaces mate nice then ya. Go bust open the case and try it (then post and let us know)

It uses a sloket? Be careful then. Thats a lot of metal you're gunna try to hang off of something thats probably gravity-challenged.

The FOP38 has this all in one feature and can be used on almost any socket type.

The CAK38 is strictly AMD only, although does have a "Monroe" clip so that it can be modified to fit on your celery!
