WinXP x64 - NOT ready for prime time

Well, the OS works fine. But drivers? What a Joke. I've been trying to get a stable install for three days now and something always screws it up. It's way worse then when I jumped the gun on Win2000 when it first came out. And you'd think that with Server 2003 having been out for a while they'd have everything sorted. But no. And 25% of my applications don't work correctly either.

So if you're thinking about it - wait a while. I'm installing 32bit WinXP for now.

i feel your pain... i have a sound card that is a hercules digifire 7.1 which is a pretty decent sound card and one that i paid around $50 or so for and i have talked to the hercules tech support people and they said they are not planning on ever making 64 bit drivers for that card. i was totally ticked off about that one... :mad:
