Best OS 4 Gaming

What is the best OS for gaming, mostly CS

I read a while ago their is meant to be a version of linux that is going to come out that will be good

Are different OS's better with different processors??

Freeware is good, but i suppose i could purchase windows:(

Firstly be careful what you say here, the talking about warez/pirated sortware is not allowed. Check the guide to forums out in GD if your not sure.

To answer your question, Win 98se is the most supported os for games, with Win Me closely behind. Win 2k is ok, but does not support some older games, but does play CS.

Linux is ok, but there are more many games for it.

I dont think you will even notice a difference between any of the window
