well, SK6 uses a 60mm fan as I'm sure you know, which means they require high RPM to provide the same CFM as an 80mm fan such as the glaciators use, if you wanted quiet a glac. would have been better because I know that SK6s will preform worst than the glaciators @ similar dB-A. I dunno if that answered your question really, it will obviously be warmer than the delta but I wouldn't expect more than 2-4 degrees, so it's not THAT bad.

Alas, the Glaciator uses a 60mm fan. Would that it used an 80mm! All HS's should use an 80mm! 60mm is just a poor standard, revered by far too many.
All HS's should have a fandaptor built-in to them. 60mm must die!

Don't want to bear with the high pitch noise from the Deltas..... Get the big fan and put a rheostat inline. Then you can run any cfm you want.
I got the ystech fan that pushes like 40cfm not the dinky 27 one.. and I've had pretty good results with it.. and it's not that loud.. well to me at least.. :)

well what i meant about the Glaciator, is that you can get a funnel for 80mm or even 92 but sk6 uses clips and you can't screw into the fins, too breakable

If the info at the bottom of your post is what you're trying to cool you need a lot more than 27cfm. Go to www.inflowdirect and look at some of the options they have. They have you adapters.rheostats can be put on big fans to turn the down to where the noise and mcooling may be in sync. There are so many potions but the 28cfm is not one of them.

Just fixing the link for you. :)
Hey. The SK6 can be used with any 80mm fan without any adapter. Just turn the fan diagonally (45 degrees) and slap the clips on the 2 opposite corners of the fan. Use the Delta 68cfm for best performance (and less annoying noise than the Delta 38 and YS Tech 40cfm)

i dont think you have any of the fans you mentioned, i have had a 60mm delta in my computer for ages and could just bear with the noise, that is why i decided to get two 80mm delta screamers, that came out the same day. The noise may not ba as high but it drowns out my 60mm delta, i now have one running at 7 voltas and it sounds like a normal fan

Hah! In fact, I have both the Delta 38cfm and the Delta 68cfm. In addition, I also have the Delta 60x38mm 50cfm which makes WAY WAY more noise than the other 2.
It's true that the Delta 68cfm makes a tiny bit more noise (maybe 1 dB) than the Delta 38. However, its noise is less high pitched than the Delta 38 thus less annoying.
I don't have the YS Tech 40cfm but many people said it's just as highpitched at the Delta 38 (maybe a little more - but can't compare to that Delta 50cfm of course).
Read my benchmark of the SK6 /w those fans here:
