I don't know how old the drivers are, but I just downloaded the Detonator XP drivers. Im running a GF2MX pci on a 350Mhz PII. I tested out UT, (640x480, high grahics settings) and I went from 22 fps average to 44. Now I feel that's a pretty big increase. (Increasing the resolution also resulted in similar fps)

btw, 220/360, 32meg ddr.

Anyway, those results are about right. Congrats to nvidia for holding onto the tweak for so long and making us suffer.

I just installed the 21.81 Drivers today... I've got a creative labs GeForce2 GTS running under Win2k. I'm seeing something tha tI can only describe as a memory leak now. Games (AvP, Rogue Spear) that I played before with no trouble I can play for a bout 20-30 mins, then they crash. Task manager reoprts that I'm using between 240 and 255 megs of my 256, and I can't free it up with out a restart. I'm gonna go find some different drivers today, and I'll have to let you know how I do.

I just noticed that too, I have 352 Megs of ram, and it gets used up really quickly, especially under stuff like 3Dmark.

I Went back to the 12.41 Drivers and have not had any problem whatsoever. I haven't seen any difference in performance myself... but I don't even bother benchmarking anymore.... I pretty much run CounterStrike at 99fps, so what more can I ask for?

Yeah - the DetXPs are rather awesome for us GeF2 users. My framerates in most things have nearly doubled.

PIII 600 running Win2k Pro and GeF2 MX 400 (64Meg) and those lovely DetXP's......

You might want to try the 21.85 detoXP's... http://www.3dwin.de/main/article.php?sid=1554&mode=thread&order=0

They come with the new Ti line of GeForces and detect those Ti cards correctly - other than that, I don't know what's changed. I haven't bothered to see if any of the files differ when compared to 21.81.

All of you guys are having such good results from the Detonator XP...but for me...nothing changed...i have a MSI gf2 pro 64 mb ddr...and im only running CS at 70 fps when nothing happens...but when the fight starts it drops to 40-50...what gives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
