Hey did you guys ever finish Far Cry?
If you did then you would see that Jack Carver does not inject himself with
the anti trigon antidote.
In Far Cry Instincts does it mean you are a Trigen???
Help me plz!!!!

How could we know the game isn't even out yet!

after thinking..don't they insert it into each other as a semi-romantic scene? or am i mistaking with a movie?

I thought they did use the antidote.
They can always say the antidote wasn't very good though.
Either way, Jack's got some sweet @ss feral powers in Instincts.

I believe they both did use the antidote - Jack took it before hand so he never got sick I think, then you saw the girl get sick at the end.

i never finished far cry. i stopped at the big ship(boat) where the guy attacked me with a helicopter and sunk the ship... had to have been close to the end.

Let's see..that's at about 2/3rd of the game :)
The key there is to jump off the boat, swim to the shore and hide in the bushes behind trees while attacking the chopper. Takes 8 - 14 hits with the rocket launcher (depending on difficulty)
I tohught u were slowly turning in to the trigen, because you have dodgy powers, like a dead far pounce and stuff...
but did you see Jack actually take the antidote, cus i dont think i did, i thought he gave it the girl then left...
Jack and the girl injected themselves in that "semi-romantic" scene, but it wasn't the antidote, they were tricked into thinking it was the antidote, but it really was the the trigen serum. The girl was getting sick quicker, but since Jack was a manly man, he was able to fight on even though he was slowly changing. The girl got the antidote in the end, but I think you are right, it was never clear if Jack took it or not.
As for the helicopter and ship scene, lots of people claim if you jump off the boat and swim to shore, you have a better chance. That didn't work very good for me, so I stayed on the ship. I fired missles at the helicoper and ducked into the cabin to evade return fire while reloading. If the helicoper gets in close, slam it with the grenade launcher. If you don't miss too much, that's a fairly easy way to down the helicoper.

Hiding behind a tree to dodge M60 fire from a helicopter is just 1337 :p
But you are right, it takes alot of speed. If you aren't fast enough you will take loads of damage from the explosion.
Bad news, last time I checked it was due out this month. Now block buster best buy and ebgames have it pushed back to september.

Jack took the serum(no longer green) and then returned to the ship to give the serum to her. I never saw him take it but he was green and then normal.

Instincts does not follow the exdact same storyline as the original, that's the whole point of the game. It's not a remake with added missions, it's basically a reworked version with a tweaked storyline and a totally revamped gameplay system(and most likely compressed to be a shorter game). AFAIK, in Instincts, instead of getting poisoned by the serum and then kicking ass at the end and getting the antidote before you turn into a trigen, you get infected much earlier in the game and as the game progresses you slowly get worse and actually get to experience the effects(unlike in the original). How it ends, I don't know, but I assume it's similar to the original where you end up beating the baddies and getting the antidote before you become fully trigen.
level was medium but wait until the rocket guys near the lava. took me a while and then I fell twice. doh!

I could never get past the last bit where you open the door to a big valley and its crawling with trigen. I even tried the use the Chair to keep the door open trick but I could never get past that stage. I pretty sure its the last obstacle so I never got to see the end.....
Oh also to get past the boat scene with the chopper I drove a jeep down to the beach and used it to take out the chopper....

yeah that is almost the end only about 6 more soldier after that. use sniper and big chaingun and it is easy. jumping bean guys are hell to kill but not too bad.

Plan of Attack:
Grab guns: Rocket, OICW, P90 and MG
First, snipe the jumpy guys on top with the OICW, use Cryvision to see them on long distance.
Then, the big trigens will have walked up to you, hide in the corner around the door so they wont see you, then take them out with nades and P90. Then head down to the door across which is blown by two of them, strafe around to dodge the rockets and fire in return. Then after you activate the elevator and get on top, grab out the OICW and lob a bunch of grenades over the large storage vats where about 8 elite guards are sitting. Walk over there and use the MG to clean it out.
I played in realistic two times, took me awhile to figure it out. By far the hardest part was in the 'temple of doom' at about 3/4th where you are left in a room with 4 invisible mutants.
lol, about that bit on the boat with the chopper, i never jumped off, i had it on realistic setting and i naled em all.
To kill the chopper just shoot the guy...
