a work in progress... my "Home-Made-Kinda-Maze-Waterblock" I guess it's great if you can find a mobo with that much clearance around the board. Otherwise you innovate and wind up with the first one pictured.

I have that block and a maze 2. I did a test between the Z4 and the maze2 to see what happens. Here are the results:

Maze 2 load: 40c
Maze 2 idle : 35c

Z4 load: 39c
Z4 idle: 34c

One thing i will note is that Z4 cools down much faster than the Maze 2. I think its because of the alluminum outer body but im not sure. I personaly stuck with the Z4 cuz its a little better amd looks dam nice. Its a great block... go for it.

Those test were donewith an athlon @ 1.4ghz.

not bad considering the prices are the same, maze is 40 bucks right?

Damn, where do you get all the money for the vapo AND tons of other expensive things? Do you think you could cut me a sweet deal on some parts you don't use anymore? I am sure you have some, I'm not expecting it to be free, nothing is free in this world, but a nice price, consider it...

Well you may have missed by other post but i im 18 and work full time at a decent paying job so i have lots of free speding money. Anyways i am actualy selling my hole water setup in full alluminum enermax case. My friend is gonna buy it from me but i will have an extra water block. either the maze or the Z4 which i would gladly sell.. do you have icq?

Isn't there a problem with mixing aluminium & copper for waterblocks? Corrosion stuff...............

There sure is... however Scot ( the owner and creator of the Z4 block at overclockershideout makes sure to give them an anodized coating. I have an alluminum resovoir like others who mix that with there copper blocks and never see a problem. Mine has been running for months now. Companies like ocerclockershideout, danger den, becooling, etc.. have been doing this for to long to make such a mistake.
