I got me a 3.0 P4 and overclocked it to 3.5 (234 FSB)
i then noticed my memory was at 388
234/388
i cant seem to figure out this ****in ratio.
or i can make it 234/468 (1:2)
It doesnt seem right though...is this ratio out of wack?
Well, DDR speed is double the memory frequency. The first example was probably using the 5:4 ratio (although the math don't come out exactly correct) and the second example was definitely using the 1:1 ratio. If your system is stable using the 1:1 ratio, that's the best route.

ill try that later, i havnt tried the 1:1 setting yet. Is it hard to run at that ratio or something? cause it seems people usually run at 5:4
Depends on what RAM you have and how fast it will run. PC4000 RAM is rated at 250 FSB using the 1:1 ratio, so that will be fine. If you have PC3200 RAM, it might start flaking out at 234 FSB. You didn't list system specs, so I can't really guess what your system might do. Some PC3200 RAM with BH-5 or TCCD chips will often do 240 FSB or more with a bump in voltage.
