Sending a fax

Is there a way to do this through broadband for free? or very cheap? I only need to send one fax, I don't want to spend 5 bucks to do it for a month service.

Any help would be appreciated (and I don't have a phone line either).

Wouldn't it be a lot easier just to go to a convenience store or staples?

nearest staples type store is 30 miles, and during the day I don't have time for anything, and the base shuts down at 4 pm
