small drill bit to drill out the center, then get an awl, place it in the center, and hit it with a hammer.
They pop right out

You've probably seen one around the garage. It looks like an icepick... or a screwdriver with a pointy end instead of a flat or phillips head.
I got my rivots out on my chieftec case with just my drill. They popped right out without a problem.

its a thing you use to make a dent in wood so you can put your nail/screw in there with out it sliding.

A great thread that has a lot of information on riveting and drilling out riveting is here http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=389099
You should be fine though if you follow the advice of Xenocide.

i need to do this too. i cant believe they used rivets to mount lian-li window instead of screws.

With rivets they hold longer and better than nuts and bolts, but when it comes to ease of changing the window or taking it out to work on it then it makes sense to use nuts and bolts not screws.

Here's what I did and it worked great. Take a small drillbit and drill through the center. Then take the next size up drill bit and do the same. Eventually it'll be the perfect size and the dang thing just falls off. It was perfect for me.

only problem with that is you can widen the hole :(

For the 1/8" rivets I use a 1/8" or #30 drill bit drill the until past the depth of the head. Remove the drill bit turn it around and holding in my hand insert the shank (back end of the bit into the hole then snap the head off. I then take a pair of Needle nose pliers grab onto the back of the rivet and pull it out. Nice clean way to remove rivets and no messed up or oversized holes.
Just an information tidbit...it's easier and cheaper to mass produce with pop rivets. You just have a machine come down over the hole holding the pop rivet, POP, done.

True, however it wasn't the case for mine. The drill bit was the perfect size and the thing fell out and didn't increase the whole size. In my case, even if I was going to increase the whole size it wouldn't have mattered, since I was replacing the rivets with small nuts/bolts.

You can also use a pair of QUALITY wire cutters to cut off the other side of the rivet. Then just poke the head out with a punch/small screwdriver/awl/etc...

stupid me, i was trying to drill out the front of the rivet instead of the back LOL
i got so frustrated..and then it finally hit me..im an idiot lol
doesn't much matter if you get a drill bit that will drill off the head of either end it you should be able to take it right out, it worked for me
