I'm getting a new comp really soon and its only got 1 pci-e upgrade slot, that means good bye chaintech. Anyway is there even any good pci-e cards, i know theres an audigy on pci-e but I refuse to put a audigy in my comp. Is there any decent cards for pci-e?

Only ones that I know of come on Abit mobos. Not sure what they use tho.

I don't think there are any soundcards out that are on PCIe @ the moment.

Hi-fi cards don't need PCI-E bandwidth, since they're designed to sound good, unlike Creative cards. Even next gen Creative gaming cards won't use PCI-E bandwidth.
