Inline pumps are their own reservoir, saving a lot of space. Can be a bit louder though. For LANs I would use an inline pump, just because it takes up less space because you don't need a separate reservoir and is much less likely to spill or leak. Also you can just pick it up and move the whole system withouts sloshing water around:D

Regular submersible pumps are quieter due to the water acting like a sound absorber. And all that water takes longer to heat up!

And that's my opinion on that! I like submersibles better myself.

A: Inline - there is no resivor, the water is all inside the pump and the lines that it pumps the water though... supposedly (havent seen any tests that say otherwise yet) inlines also wont raise the temp of the water a few just by being within the water. SUbmersible, much easier to work with you dont have to 'bleed' the system quite as throughly as with an inline pump... you simply add water to the res as it is emptied from the pump pumping it into the lines...

B: This is mostly personal choice... with an inline yes you dont need a res and all that, but if you desgin the submerged setup correct it can all fit inside the case computer. And of course it will be water tight... or should be since its all inside the computer... therefore no leaks... the one way I wouldnt suggest for a lan computer ... Bong.. no way!!! LoL...

My personall choice as well is submersible...
