How do I o'clock this board?
How do I unlock the chip?
512MB PC 800
Matrox G450eTV
Thanks
Well, you can't unlock the chip. All Intel CPUs have been locked since the PII 266. So you will have to overclock it using your FSB (Front Side Bus). You'll have to go into your BIOS to adjust it. Take it up in small increments. Like 5mhz or less. If it boots up and it's stable then go up a little more...etc.:)

Thanks Boot into the bios. Chose advance, highlight the mhz speed indication, press enter, choose manual, in the drop down menu choose the speed you want to clock to. Its best to start low and work your way up. Hit enter after choice goto exit and save. Computer will reboot. If It doesn't shut off puter and retry. This normally shows you need to try a lower overclock. Before trying anything be sure your cooling will handle it.
Everyone seems to forget the number one golden rule in overclocking. FIRST, you must have better cooling.
